I’ll give you a few reasons, why I find her absolutely fake:
One, her Instagram Bio reads,
“Youngest Most Beautiful woman in the Universe 2018, Only Actor to win max. no. of beauty titles in the history ever, Miss Universe, IITian, Theatre, Athlete.”
I mean, what kind of person brags about themselves like this? And moreover, she is not a miss universe and not an IITian. As per the reports, she was just studying to get into IIT but chose to go into the glamour industry instead.
On the contrary, look at the Instagram Bio of Miss World and superstar Aishwarya Rai.
Two, she lied about her age during Miss India Universe 2012 and when the organizers discovered, she was dethroned of her title for being underage.
Three, she copied Gigi Hadid’s Instagram post word to word on her own Instagram post! The netizens soon discovered this and she was called out for doing such a cheap stunt for popularity. She later apologized for the same.
She bashed the media with this ‘powerful’ post-
"Seems like u guys tag me in a new post every day ... pls stop.. it's just negative, I really have no hard feelings towards you I just know what a beautiful world there is to go out and live in instead of trying to dissect something that you don't even know and that you do not see 99% of. The energy you put into this does not serve your life in any way ...truly 'beating a dead horse. You guys can call it publicity gimmick. There's nothing to figure out all the time... give it a break. this is my last comment on this matter but I hope u know it's not coming from a bad place, just would love for you to find something else that inspires you in life,"

Four, she has been a frequent feature on dietsabya—A popular Instagram page that calls out copycat designers.
Five, according to a few reports, she gatecrashed Manish Malhotra’s party in 2016. She wasn’t invited and she just entered the party and went up to Karan Johar to thank him for inviting her into the party. Karan later asked Manish if he has invited her and he said No he hasn’t. Apparently, she went on to click pictures with Bollywood A-listers and posted on her social media handles.
The pictures speak for themselves.
Now, I don’t have anything against her but there is something about her Instagram bio and the way she presents herself on social media that she comes out as a total wannabe.
Regardless of that, there is no doubt that she has got a pretty face and some great dancing skills but acting skills—None.
A lot of other actresses like Radhika Apte and Kalki Koechlin deserve far more attention than she does, without having many skills.

Edit: My definition is someone being fake is ‘the person who is presenting themselves to be who they are not’. So, Isn’t almost everyone doing that in Bollywood?
Yes, but the difference lies in the extent to which one goes to create an image in front of the public so they become more popular.
So in the case of Urvashi, most of the moves she made to get more popular has backfired on her.
This won’t go down well with the fans of Urvashi I understand and I accept their point of view. I’m not concerned about her struggles in life or what she did to reach where she is right now but how she comes out to me as an actress and me being an audience.
Also, please don’t get into character assassination of Urvashi. You can state the facts but let’s not make hateful or personal remarks on her. Nobody deserves that, neither does she
